Catherine Brentnall
Developing resources
Catherine led on the creation of the new digital version of A Common Approach for Music Mark in 2022 and continues to develop the resource. She has produced resources for Wiltshire Music Connect to support the progression of vocal and instrumental learners and written case studies to share good practice in schools.
Project management
Catherine has organised several conferences for music hubs, managing events from conception to delivery, including venue, logistics, programming, bookings, budget, and evaluation. She has delivered many collaborative events with schools and external organisations, including a series of workshops and performances with The Royal Corps of Army Music engaging approximately 2000 children.​​​
Leading networks
Catherine leads a national peer group for vocal and instrumental teachers for Music Mark, providing a forum for discussion and collaboration. Catherine also leads regional networks of schools, providing CPD and collaborative opportunities for school-based teachers.
